10 Millionth advert of the Year!
We didn't feel any record heat this month but we have had some record job posting!
On Friday the 15th of August the 10 millionth job post of the year was sent via AdCourier.
Posted on the 228th day of 2008, the landmark job posting was for a vacancy based in Los Angeles.
If the rest of the year follows suit, we are on target to post 16 million adverts , that's over 30 every minute, 24 hours a day!
People often say there's a seasonal slump in August but our clients posted 1.5 million adverts between them; while sales, admin and hospitality remained pretty steady we noticed that public sector, engineering and IT staff were very much in demand last month.
